Tell us how you think we are doing

People in Northampton are being asked to say what they think about the service they receive from their Borough Council.

Northampton Borough Council is launching the first 2012 satisfaction survey on Tuesday 1 May. Last year the decision was made to run two online satisfaction surveys a year so the Council could monitor how well it was performing across four key areas:
  • Level of satisfaction with the way the Council runs things,
  • Information about services provided by the Council,
  • Ability to influence decisions affecting the local area, and
  • Do people agree or not that the Council provides value for money
The online survey should only take 10 minutes to complete and can be found at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/nbctrackerspring

Councillor David Mackintosh, Leader of Northampton Borough Council said: "This is an opportunity for people to tell us what they think about their Borough Council, and I would like to ask everyone to make a few moments to complete the online form.

"Over the last few weeks I have had the chance to talk to people about the major projects the Council is involved with over the next few years. The majority of people have been really excited by what is happening and really positive about our plans.

"However, we must also look at what we are doing today and the services people receive from the Borough Council every day of the week. So a survey like this is an invaluable tool in helping us to understand how we are doing and where people would like us to improve. It only takes 10 minutes, so please tell us what you think."

The satisfaction survey is available online (http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/nbctrackerspring) from Tuesday 1 May to Thursday 31 May.

We are also looking for people to join our Residents' Panel to give us their views on a regular basis, if you would like to find out more please visit: http://www.northampton.gov.uk/residentspanel
